We are a non-profit organization that need the support of others to continue our effective and important work in our communities. It's not just about the monetary donations, but your time, in-kind services, and community resources are also extremely valuable to us. There are various ways to get involved with our committee's efforts. Just select the option(s) that works best for you!

Volunteer Your Time

By becoming a member, your volunteer time and areas of expertise will be invaluable to our team and the people we serve. Membership is free of charge but does require an application process. Click here for our Membership Application.

Because our work is not just about our clients, but about educating and raising community awareness as well, we need help doing this. Some tasks volunteers help with are distributing literature or posting flyers; assisting with set-up, breakdown, and/or manning our booth/tables during events and registration drives; and writing articles for our newsletter. Sometimes we need additional presenters and speakers as well. We welcome all volunteers whether you can give an hour a month or 40 hours a week! Click here for our Volunteer Application.

Volunteer to assist with any of the upcoming events we host or are invited to participate in. Sometimes, we need vendors/exhibitors and/or guest speakers and presenters, too.

In-kind Services & Donations

We continuously look for people or organizations to volunteer to print or make copies of our flyers, workshop materials, and community resource lists, and assist with postage. If you have a venue or space you can donate the usage of for an event or activity that we coordinate, please let us know!

To help enhance and encourage participation during our events, you can assist us by being a sponsor and donating food, drinks, items to give away, and/or advertising.

Help Locate Resources or Sponsor a Family

Many of the families in low-income communities have no idea where to go or who to turn to when they are in a stressful situation. Sometimes, the families' needs are as basic as needing beds to sleep in or pots to cook in. Our committee tries to assist them by helping identify resources that may be able to assist them with their various needs. We are always looking for additional avenues and mentors to help these families continue to grow and enhance their way of living and can use your help. Please take a moment to look at our Wish List.
